Can't see my tasks
My tasks suddenly aren't displaying. I can tell by the numbers next to the project lists that they are there. They just don't appear.
I've cleared my cache, restarted my browser, relaunched Todoist (new tab, using http://www.todoist.com). It resolves to version 54, and still nothing appears.
This happened about a week ago too when you went to HTML 5, but the cache clearing trick worked that time, but not this time.

aside from the cache, please clear your offline storage data as well. In Firefox, it's located in the Advanced -> Network tab, in Chrome it's in the (Advanced Settings) "Content Settings" -> "All cookies and site data" list.
This data is not being cleared when you delete the cache and needs to be cleared manually. Also, please make sure that todoist.com is not on the list of sites with blocked access to offline data (the "Exceptions" list in Firefox in the Network tab).
Still nothing, David. I'm using Chrome. I've cleared my cookies and other site data. Everything else in the site is rendering correctly. Just the tasks do not appear.
Is there some explanation for why you think that the clearing the cache or other data would fix this? What is it that was changed yesterday that made my tasks suddenly not appear?
please clarify - have you manually removed the offline application data from the list accessed through "All cookies and site data"?
Please try to open an Incognito window using Ctrl+Shift+N and access Todoist through there and let me know if you see your tasks there.
The explanation (which we will try to fix in the future) is that the newly introduced HTML5 offline storage may sometimes be difficult to invalidate and some corruption of this data can occur. In which case such issues as a complete task list (or all lists) may not display and so far, this issue could always be solved by clearing the offline data, but again - this must be removed manually in Chrome's Settings by deleting todoist.com on the list mentioned above as it will not be removed if you use the "Clear browsing data" option.
If this won't help, though, it would be very helpful if you could try to access your Todoist account through a different browser and if you can access your tasks this way, please try to disable all recently added Chrome plugins (added right before this issue occurred).
Hi David, it seems to be working again. Just for the heck of it, I manually change the version number in the URL to v53. When I hit enter, the URL automatically resolved to v54, but now my tasks are appearing again. Not sure how that would have worked, but it did.
Hopefully they will continue to appear without issue. If not, I'll follow the recommendations that you've outlined here. Thanks.

FYI, I was having the same problem and Sean's suggestion to change the 54 to 53 in the URL solved it. Inspired advice!
