Cannot launch Todoist for Android Premium from my phone anymore
Has something changed in the Android App?
I can't get it to run.
Trued to uninstall it to reinstall it and is still not appearing in the list of apps installed...
When managing from settings, doesn't even let me choose force stop, Clear cache or anything data related.

please tell me - are you referring to the beta release of our Android app? All other Android apps (except for our mobile site http://todoist.com/m ) are third-party solutions and you can contact the developer of the particular app directly.
Yes, that is the Beta release I was referring to, not third-party solutions.
I have since then discovered that in order to install and run Todoist For Android Premium, one MUST have the free version ALSO installed, which makes no sense to me... once I pay for an app, I usually remove the free version to save space on my phone.
I have re-installed the free version and the application seems to work, but doesn't let me know it's the premium version and I really wonder what's the difference between the free and the suposedly Premium version.
there is only one beta version that we're currently testing and it's, as all our other apps - free to use. It does have some limitations in features right now, but we will certainly consider adding as many features from the full web-app in the future, also post-release.
I'm not sure if I have understood you correctly as there are no 2 versions of our Android app and you don't need to pay for any additional Premium app. Todoist Premium, which costs $29/year is a general plan that gives you a variety of additional features on the web app (and soon also on the Android app, most likely after we release it), but there are no additional costs for the app itself.
Could you please confirm if you've got the Android app from the email message you've received after subscribing for the beta test? If not, please let us know from which source did you receive it?
I wish I could reply your emails and send you screenshots.
There are two applications on the Google Play Store:
- Todoist for Android (Free)
- Todoist from Android Premium (US$ 0.99)
These two applications are from the same developer, ANDROID808, and I assume it's "you" as the appearance of the app is extremely similar to yours on line and as a Chrome extension.
I have actually purchased the Premium version and it displays and interacts with my Todoist account on line.
Is there another app that I should use?
none of the apps on the Google Play Store have been developed by Todoist. These are all third-party solutions based on the Todoist API and if you're experiencing any issues with these apps, it's advised to contact its developers as we have no influence on this content.
The beta app we're currently working on is not publicly available yet (at any store), however, if you're interested in testing it out (and we would appreciate all your feedback about it), I can forward the notification to your email address. If you're interested in future revisions of this app, please sign up at http://todoist.com/mobile_testing
The only solution developed by Todoist (aside from our iOS app) is the mobile site http://todoist.com/m which is free to use and can be accessed by any HTML5 compatible mobile browser.
if you sign up at http://todoist.com/mobile_testing you will receive an email notification once the beta starts.
Here's a small preview of how great our apps are going to look like (and include many features from the web-app): https://plus.google.com/106827182652048588353/posts/Hh9u8Sg7xnh
