The checkoff and "gear" edit images no longer appear on my list.
Both image areas remain clickable, but no images. Yesterday, todoist prompted me to give it access to store data on my computer for offline use - and I granted access. Could these two things be related? Thanks.

Which browser are you using?

Firefox 3.6.16 on Windows XP SP2. I just tried logging out and back in, but it did not fix the display.

Just disallowed todoist from using my disk for offline storage and that fixed the issue.

Cool. Is the offline thing new? I have never seen that option in Chrome.

Dunno. It appeared as a pop-up in FF, similar to the one that prompts you to save a password for a site. There's nothing in the todoist interface (that I've found) that references it.
It may be that your browser security settings already allow it to use the offline mode, so you didn't receive the prompt.
Newer browsers support "HTML 5 offline mode" and we are currently working on making Todoist support that.
This should allow offline usage of Todoist and a much snappier user experience, it will be like using a desktop application with no network latency.

Same problem on FF3.6.19 here
When I disabled todoist from working offline in FF prefs, the images reappeared.
