Can I assign other people to tasks?

I see this application to be very useful however If I'm working with a team , how do I utlize this application and assign project tasks to other team members?

I tried wedoist and it seemed a bit too much for us. We like Todoist a lot as it is clean and simple to use. We would far rather have team sharing integrated into Todoist - this is a feature that we would pay for.

Hi. Although I applaud the idea behind Wedoist, I am willing to pay for Todoist+Wedoist integration (or at least have Todoist users share tasks).

I would also like for todoist to have sharing capabilities.. and would also pay for said feature.

todoist is so much better than wedoist, the task organization abilities of Todoist are simply not present in the new application. Build on your strengths and let us add users to a todoist account!

Hi David,

I am happy user and also got my team into todoish. Certainly wedoish is not as much attractive as todoish.

How do I automatically share his task with mine in todoish.

As of today he exports the template to me and then I import it manually. This will certainly not work in long run.

Hello Chirag,

We're currently working on merging Todoist and Wedoist so that tasks added through Wedoist will appear on your list in Todoist and vice-versa with many great options this update will introduce.

For now, you can use the "Send email as task" feature to add a task to someone else's list via email. Simply right-click on a project, choose "Email tasks to this project" from the context menu and in this window, you'll see the unique email address of this project and at the bottom, you can add someone else's email addresses which will be accepted for adding tasks. If you share your project's email address with your team and everyone adds each others' addresses to their lists, you could send tasks this way.

Alternatively, you could use Wedoist with one of Todoist's browser plugins. Each time you open a discussion about a task or a status update, the URL will point directly to the particular discussion. This way, you can use the "Add website as task" feature in Todoist to create a task pointing to it.
