Roadmap for new iOS app?
Just wondering if there's a timeline for the release of the new iOS app. Are we looking at days? Weeks? Months?
I LOVE the Todoist web app, but I depend on access to my task info via my iPod touch and iPad throughout most of my day, and the app for those devices in it's present incarnation just doesn't allow me to do what I need to do (no search, labels, notes, collapsing menus, etc. make it very frustrating to use). Using todoist.com/m isn't a viable work-around for me as I depend on wifi for my devices and signals aren't always available in the building I work in (3G service is also spotty where I work, so getting an iPhone wouldn't make any difference). A fully functional universal app with local notifications/alerts would be SO HELPFUL!
Any hope of a "sooner" rather than "later" release?

the new iOS app is under development and you're welcome to sign up for the beta at: http://todoist.com/mobile_testing and you'll receive a notification when it becomes available. Unfortunately, I can't give you any exact timeframe or a list of features as some features may not be available in the beta version and we will also most likely add some features post-release.
We're very sorry for the delay, but we really want to make a great, bug-free app and it requires a lot of work, but we're always aiming primarily at quality.
Also, please note that the mobile /m site can also be accessed offline. Once you sync it in your browser, you can access your tasks anytime without being connected to the internet and sync at a later time. This will also soon apply to the full Todoist web-app: https://plus.google.com/106827182652048588353/posts/T14R1drt1X1
our new app will be awesome and you will not be disappointed by it.
We're very sorry for the delays, but the only reasons why it takes so much time is because we want to make great apps that will suit your needs and we will release it as soon as we're satisfied with the result :)
