Google calendar - Personal calendar
Maybe you can help. At work I have outlook 2003 and I cannot sync TODOIST with my calendar. I do have Google calendar sync so all my events from Google calendar appear on my outlook (and vice versa). Unfortunately Google calendar is syncing only the Google "personal folder" and not the "other calendar" where the TODOIST appear. Do you have any idea how can I make TODOIST appear in my outlook calendar (and the same goes for the iPhone calendar - I don't want iCal app... I want to use the native iPhone calendar).
Thanks in advance, Maya

Outlook itself can handle an iCal feed just as Google Calendar does so you can add it to Outlook directly. To do so, simply click on the calendar icon in the Todoist Preferences (next t the iCal URL) and you should see a popup window asking which application to use to open the iCal feed. Outlook should be on the list and if it's not, there should be an "Add Calendar" -> "From the internet" option in Outlook's "Other Calendars" section (try to right-click on it).
It should also be possible to subscribe to the iCal feed on the iPhone (try to click Settings -> Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> tap to "Add Account" -> tap "Other" -> tap "Add Subscribed Calendar").

Thanks for the replay. I clicked on the calendar icon in the Todoist Preferences (next t the iCal URL) and I saw a popup window asking which application to use to open the iCal feed, however Outlook is not on the list and there is no an "Add Calendar" option.
I see option of "The link should be opened with an application" there is option of 30 Boxes and "choose an application".
please open Outlook, go to the Calendar section and just as in Google Calendar, there should be an "Other calendars" option where you can add an iCal feed (Add calendar -> From the internet). Use this option and copy/paste the URL from your Todoist Preferences.

is there anyway to have this calendare sync with an exchange calendar rather then simply overlay it?
Hello Arnold and Megan,
each calendar software handles an iCal feed differently. Usually it's treated as a separate additional calendar. However, it should be possible to view multiple calendars simultaneously.
Please clarify, how would you prefer this feature to work?

Essentially I was wanting to be able to import the tasks directly into my exchange calendar in outlook so the tasks a re synchronised with my mobile devices.
It is possible to view both calendars (one overlay the other) but this doesn't actually mean the tasks are synced across all calendars.
Arnold and Megan,
it is possible to synchronize the iCal feed with Outlook's Calendar, however, it may indeed be impossible to sync it with your mobile devices because this option will most likely only work on Outlook calendar feeds that aren't already external feeds such as our iCal feed,
Alternatively, you could try to add our iCal feed directly to your mobile device as most mobile calendar apps should support this standard.
