Todoist <> Wedoist ... I do not understand their separate ways.
I can not see why you can not make Todoist and Wedoist more similar. There are many aspects of Wedoist that I like and even though I can use it for free, it lacks iPhone/iPad integration that I need and so I do not use it. Why not share some of the functionality and look of Wedoist with Todoist.
Wedoist is a cleaner, nicer looking app. And now it has GOOGLE DRIVE integration. My guess is that if you combine them under one moniker with similar functionality (like separate project pages, wider comment popups, a separate tag window) but exluding the sharing for a single user plan, then you will have an easier to maintain product and a better product.
Frankly, I feel like I that Todoist is a lesser application compared to Wedoist.

thank you very much for your feedback, we appreciate it. There are two reasons for the differences between Todoist and Wedoist:
1. Todoist was created much earlier than Wedoist.
2. Todoist was supposed to be a personal task manager, while Wedoist was created with team-based project management in mind.
We are indeed planning to make both products interchangeable so that you could assign tasks for your team using Wedoist and send them to their personal Todoist accounts and vice-versa so eventually Todoist and Wedoist will share more features.
