How to put dates into an e-mail?
I have tried putting dates into an e-mail subject line so that it will have a date once it lands in the list. I have done the following:
<Jul 10 2012>
which is supposed to be legible, but it doesn't work!
Here is an example of an e-mail:
Task <Jul 10 2012>
This is a feature that I would very much like to use.

Hello Chelsea,
in order to set a due date to a task sent by email, please use the following tag: <date tomorrow>. So, according to your example, the subject line should look contain:
Task <date Jul 10>
Note - the word "date" must be included at the beginning of the tag and you don't need to add 2012 in this situation (it wouldn't change anything, but it's not necessary).
You can also use the following format:
Task <date 7/10>
but please make sure that the proper date format (MM-DD-YYYY) is set in your Todoist Preferences otherwise this date will be understood as October 7th.
Best regards,
David
