Any way to import from Google tasks? Export with indentations of subtasks?
Is there any way to import from Google Tasks?
Also, does your export feature to icalendar include exporting subtasks to retain the indentations. In other works, it will export what tasks go under what tasks?

unfortunately, it's not possible to import/export your tasks between Todoist and Google's Tasks, but please note that we offer a variety of browser plugins which can allow you to access your Todoist tasks from anywhere.
Also, feel free to vote for a request to add this feature in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/55/
As for Google Calendar - tasks imported through the iCal feed do not retain their indent levels. They're added by due date/time only. Please take a look at this short video showing how it works: http://www.screencast.com/t/oHB9mz1wz
Hello. I just installed Todoist along with the outlook addin and chrome extension. So fare I like the clean interface and the outlook integration looks good.
I'm not clear how todoist integrates with gmail. I did think that my tasks in gmail would sync with todoist, but based on this response that is not the case.
So, I'll need to manually move my tasks from gmail to todoist? In this scenario, will I no longer use google tasks at all then?
Can you tell me what exactly the integration with gmail is? The main feature I am looking for is to add emails to tasks, like I can do via the More button.
the integration with GMail allows you to add your GMail messages as tasks (link to them within Todoist's tasks). It does not allow you to synchronize them with Google's Tasks. Todoist can be used as an alternative to Google Tasks.
Your email will be added the same way as in Outlook by using the "Add email as task" link at the bottom of your task list (you need to access the project you'd like to add it to first).
You can see how the integration works in this short video explaining the details: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSPa2ZHCs-Y
