I've suddenly started receiving daily emails that I can't unsubscribe from
Similarly to another question, I suddenly started receiving daily emails with task reminders. I have tried unsubscribing via the included link twice, but I continue to receive these emails.

In order to identify the issue, it would be very helpful if you could provide the following information:
- After clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the mail, have you seen the confirmation message in your browser?
- Do you have any ad- or script-blocking plugins in your browser?

I've started receiving these emails too--very annoying, especially since I have not used this tool in years.
To answer the questions you posted:
- I do see the "unsubscribe" confirmation.
- I do have an ad-blocking plugin in my browser (Adblock Plus (Beta)1.2 on Google Chrome 18.0.1025.162).
I've also had the same problem and it's been very annoying. Why would I get emails that I never signed up to receive? And then I can't unsubscribe even though it tells me I did?!!
We shouldn't have to "work around" this by trying to do something with our ad-block plugin. That doesn't even make sense. We should have the option of changing or managing this setting from within our Preferences on Todoist at least!
we're sorry for the inconvenience. These mails were sent only to people who still have Todoist account.
We're investigating the issue you're experiencing with the unsubscription right now. So far, we can't reproduce it, but any information provided would be very helpful.
Ad-block plugins or other script-blocking plugins could theoretically prevent certain information to be sent and therefore influence the unsubscription process even though they shouldn't. Again, this information could help us identify this issue and fix it as soon as possible.
We will certainly add a feature to manage which mails you want to receive from Todoist soon.

I am also receiving these. I would go to the settings panel to turn them off, but they're not available because I am not a premium user. Please can you make it stop?
you can unsubscribe from the Daily Digest emails by using the "click here to unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any Daily Digest you've received.
There was a small system glitch preventing some accounts from unsubscribing so please try to use this link again and it should work now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi, I am getting emails with no link to unsubscribe. They are not daily. I got one a minute ago because someone posted at:
so this will not be testable as often as daily. Please let me know when you can fix this. Let me know if you have more questions.

Todoist simply wants to keep sending you spam mails in the future so they don't have an option in preferences. They keep giving people a run around so they stop complaining. I've designed many websites myself and know exactly how designers steal and keep innocent people's information for themselves. Once you sign up, you are forever signing up.
we are not stealing any information and you have an option to unsubscribe from any notification anytime in every mail you've received from us.
If you don't want to receive notifications, please open any mail we've send to you, scroll down to the bottom of the message and use the "Click here to unsubscribe link".
