Is there a entry shortcut for assigning project?

Similar to the @ label shortcut and the ! priority shortcut, I was wondering if there's a shortcut for assignment to a project. It would be important for all of these shortcuts to work across all frontends (web, mobile, email, native mobile app, etc.).

Thanks,
Joey

Hello Joey,

unfortunately, labels or priorities cannot be attached to projects right now, but we will certainly consider adding such option in the future. Thank you for your feedback.

I'm sorry, I don't think I was clear: I'd like to be able to do this when I'm entering a task:

Call David !p1 @Calls ^MyProject

Upon entering the above task in that way the system will:
1) create the task
2) place it in the MyProject project
3) assign it to the Calls label
4) give it a 1 priority

I'd like that same syntax available regardless of the frontend I use (web, mobile, email, native mobile app, etc.)

Thanks,
Joey

Joey,

I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. That's a great idea and we will surely add it in the future as well.

Right now, the only alternative is the "quick add" option available under the Ctrl+Q keyboard shortcut (or the + icon in the upper-right corner). It will allow you to add a task from any view and when you hit the "Tab" key twice, you'll get focus on the drop-down menu with your project names which you can navigate using the UpArrow/DownArrow keys.

It's the closest option to "attaching" projects with an in-task syntax right now (it doesn't work when adding tasks via email, though), but we will consider your suggestion for future development.

You're welcome to add it to the Votebox.
