Complete task behavior changed?
Ok, the situation is: I have a task that's set to "every day", and it is one day overdue. I check it off as done. It used to be that the task would be moved to today, but it seems like the behavior was changed and now it is moved to tomorrow.
I liked the old behavior a lot better. Often, I will forget to check some task from yesterday and do it the next day, but in that case I still want to have the "every day" task in the current day to-do list.
I see that if I immediately uncheck the overdue task after checking it, it will be moved to today... so I could do that, but it seems very counterintuitive. If I uncheck an overdue task as not being done... shouldn't it go back to be overdue?
Any chance of at least getting an option to make it behave the old way?

this has indeed been changed due to the fact that the nature of most everyday tasks makes them missable and therefore if you complete today's instance of an overdue everyday task, the next time you'll have to do it will be tomorrow.
Still, we appreciate your feedback and will consider changing this behavior. You're welcome to add a request to our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/
I guess it depends on the nature of the task.
Suppose my task is to write a journal entry every day about the things I did that day. Now suppose I don't write a journal entry on some day, so the task becomes overdue.
So then, on the next day, I write the overdue journal entry for the previous day, check off the task, and that leaves the journal entry for the current day to be written, so I would like the task to show up again for today.
Of course, if people have tasks that they can't make up the next day, it's a different situation, but the previous behavior accommodated both types. If you want the overdue task to go to tomorrow's list, you check it off as overdue, it is moved to today, then you check it off again and it is moved to tomorrow.
Whereas with the changed behavior, it seems to only accommodate one type of task.
It would be nice to at least get the option back in some way.
