Todoist plug-in version 2.5 for Firefox 5.0 doesn't do anything
Firefox version 5.0
Todoist plugin version 2.5, downloaded & installed July 5th, 2011.
I exited and restarted Firefox after downloading & installing the plugin.
I clicked on the "T" icon appearing between the back-forward navigation arrows and the address box (vertically between the tabs above it and the Bookmarks toolbar below it).
I get a very simple left-hand panel which contains:
[ blank box ]
[ blank box]
[Login button] Forgot password?
I entered my email address and password, clicked the Login button, and nothing happened.

please try to go to the Todoist website, log in from there and then open the plugin. Does it still ask you to log in?
Also, are you using any ad- or script-blocking plugins? If so, either try adding todoist.com on their whitelists or disabling them completely.

I had uninstalled it. I will try again using the following steps:
1. Close all Firefox windows & wait a few moments for it to completely stop. I have FF set up to Clear History when I exit.
2. Reopen FF, go to Tools > Add-ons
3. Select Plug-ins in the Add-ons Manager
4. Search for "Todoist" Add-on
5. Select it and install it.
6. Restart Firefox
7. Go to www.todoist.com and log-in
8. Click on the 'T' Icon for the Todoist Add-on
9. See what happens!
I will let you know how it turns out.

Nope - that doesn't help. I just get the Email: and Password: login boxes in the left pane. I've already logged in, so why login again? But I re-entered my email address and password, clicked login - my entries disappear from the boxes, but I am not logged in - still see the "login" dialog in the left pane.
How do I find if I have 'blockers'?
I'm sorry, but I can't reproduce this issue :(
You can check if you have ad-blockers installed by going to Tools -> Add-ons and see what's installed under "Extensions".
Do you have add-ons like NoScript, Adblock Plus, Ad blocker, YesScript etc.? If so, please let me know which ones.
Besides, if you want to try reinstalling Todoist for Firefox, please try completely removing it, instead of disabling and re-enabling it.
Also, go to Options -> Privacy and make sure you've checked "Accept cookies from sites" and "Accept third-party cookies". To be sure, choose to keep them until "they expire" from the drop-down menu. If this doesn't help or you already have the same settings, you could try putting todoist.com on your browser's whitelist by accessing "Exceptions" (from the same Privacy settings window), typing todoist.com and clicking "Allow".

How do I complete remove the ToDoist Add-on?
Do I need to do anything more than click on "remove" button in the Extensions section of the Add-ons manager?
Linda Murphy on Jul 08, 2011 - 14:09
I keep third party cookies turned off for privacy.
I added exceptions for todoist.com and www.todoist.com. ("Allow")
I also changed Clear History options so that Site Preferences will not be cleared when I exit Firefox. I've been able to use the plug-in thus far.
Will let you know if it continues to work or if I have further issues with it.

I just installed the todoist 2.5 addon on firefox 6 beta and it kept hanging on "todoist loading...".
after reading the above i disabled Adblock Plus and todoist plugin started working. The filter i use is Fanboy's list (which is the default filter, i think). i'm going to see if i can figure out how to whitelist todoist.com and see if that works.
