Last I heard in these forums you had managed to duplicate the problem and were working on it. It's been a few weeks. The fact that my deadlines change randomly with no rhyme or reason that I can tell makes this product, and I have found no other other format I like so much or I would just be asking for my money back instead of hoping and praying you will have it fixed soon, relatively useless. As a premium subscriber, you have to get this fixed. Is the problem working with ical? Because I can sync to google calendar... But this is a core feature. For an app that is not cheap, you need to get this fixed ASAP. And if it's a question of date formatting, or actions taking around recurring to dos, please put out an FAQ so people are doing it right. Frankly I am feeling really dissatisfied as a customer after raving about you guys online after finding your product. When can I realistically expect this to be handled please?

please clarify - what issue are you referring to? We've fixed some issues regarding due dates already, it may be required to clear your browser cache to see the changes (as your browser may read the old version from the cache) or try to access Todoist through this URL: https://todoist.com/app?v=5#start If this doesn't work and you're referring to an issue not related with the iCal feed, please tell me:
- What exact due date are you using with a task (please post an example)?
- What happens when you save it?
- What happens when you check it off?
Although we're still working on the iCal feed issue displaying incorrect dates in some cases, we can't reproduce any issue which would make it impossible to sync the tasks with Google Calendar.
Please tell me - are you adding the iCal feed through Other Calendars -> Add by URL? Do you see any error messages? Have you tried it multiple times or through different browsers?
We're very sorry for the inconvenience, we're trying to fix any issues as soon as we can, some are more complex than others, but we certainly will eventually repair them.

Right now I have it feeding directly to ical, my preference. But I could switch it to google cal if I must. It now will at least get the date right, and USUALLY can handle recurring events... so long as I don't try to add a time. So for example, if the to do item says Karate and I schedule for every Fri. @ 7 pm, that might show up as Sat. at 5:30 am when I save it, or some other random time. Oddly, if I click it it has recorded the correct time I entered, but it goes on my cal at the random time of its choosing. If However, I write the to do item as karate - 7 pm and schedule for ev Fri. (and I have tried many different ways of writing the dates/times, all to the same effect) that works except it doesn't show up in my calendar at 7 pm, although at least it's on the right day I suppose. Have tried different browsers, but largely I would like it to work with chrome on my various laptops and ical on my phone. I'll try to stick with you guys a bit longer... I really can't find another product that is set up in such a way that it works with my brain well enough to let me stop relying on paper, but if I can't get it to schedule things it becomes a whole heckuva lot less useful. :-(

in this exact format and see if it helps. Also, please clarify - are you typing exactly: every Fri. @ 7pm? Our system should mark it as an invalid date format due to the dot after "Fri". If it accepts this due date, please tell me - what URL shows up in your browser's address bar? Is it this 6th version (v=6): https://todoist.com/app?v=6

I just tried every Thursday at 5:30pm
It saved as every Friday at 4:30am
Until this is fixed I have removed all times from my lists as at least that way it gets the dates right... It has accepted ALL date formats I have entered, and I have tried all formats. With periods and without, numerical dates with slashes and dates spelled out, military time and time as you have it written. All are accepted, none come out right. :-(
And yep, had v5, now listing as v6 in URL, no change.
please tell me - what time zone did you select in Todoist's Preferences -> General Settings? Also, what time zone are you in and what are your system's time zone settings? Note - even if your system clock it correct, please check the time zone selected in your operating system.
So far, I can't reproduce this. I've typed: every Thursday at 5:30pm and it saved exactly as every Thursday at 5:30pm. Also, every Fri. with a dot isn't accepted as a valid date:
Please tell me:
- Which browser are you using?
- Does this issue also occur in a different browser (it would be very helpful if you could check this)?
- Did this always happen ever since you've started using Todoist or at some later point?

I selected GMT +6 and am in Central Time Zone. My systems clock on my work computer appears correct and I do not have ability to modify it based on admin rights. On my home computer (Mac where I also access todoist) it is also right.
I use Chrome on all computers, and safari on my iphone. Not at home so can't check other browsers on my mac. When I first purchased todoist it seemed right but within a couple of days of purchase it became a problem even though I had not changed the way I was doing things.
please clarify - was the "plus" sign above a typo? If not and if you're referring to the U.S. Central Time Zone, then it's GMT-6 not GMT+6.
If you've picked GMT-6, have you selected the GMT-6 time zone with no location from the bottom of the list in Todoist's Preferences or one from the top or the middle? There are multiple choices for GMT-6 which all should work correctly, but in case there's an issue with one of them, please let us know which one you're using.
As for your system clock, if you open your system's time settings at home, please switch to the "Time zone" tab and see if GMT-6 is selected. Unfortunately, this may have an influence on this issue even if the clock is adjusted properly.
