Email sending of tasks not working
I've sent several task to my projects today and they are not showing up in todoist. It was working before.
I'd started with a few emails to a new project which didn't show up, so I went back to my original project email and sent a test to that. It is the correct email address and this has happened through Outlook, on-line email, mobile email, two different (and authorised) emails. I have not received an error or anything back. I have double checked the email address and have sent test emails with simple text to avoid errors in testing with no success. I have tried the simplest emails (no date, context) as testing, but emails from different devices even (with quadruple checking email addresses) that previously worked do not now.

I gave it one final try and it seems to be working again, but those that I sent earlier appear to be lost as they did not appear.
By the way, nothing was done differently as I have an email script that sends the emails and the tasks appeared in the later run, but both the script and all other methods to send email failed. I have been able to verify that the emails both times (and in different ways, from multiple machines) all were sent correctly and consistently the same way).
My concern now it that if I send an email, it now appears unreliable. At least if I received an error email back, I'd know to re-enter the task, but this way, tasks I capture out and about are now being lost???
we're very sorry for the inconvenience, it must have been a temporary issue with our mailing server. Please let us know if the emails you've sent before have showed up on your task list by now.
Usually, they should be added at a later time automatically in such situation.
Gave it a few days and the missing emails did not turn up as tasks so completely vanished. Seems like it was a complete blackout. Not really an issue now for the lost material as I was in the process of transferring across to todoist. However, concern remains about future emails and being sure they are captured.
Is there any way we can get a confirmation (or error) once the email is recieved, so at least we can be sure its added (or rejected)? Thanks.
we're very sorry for the inconvenience. It is very unusual that the email haven't been delivered. Does your email provider/host send an automatic delivery failure message?
I assure you such issues normally don't happen in our service, but still, we will consider adding a solution which would prevent a possibility of a message being lost.
Thank you for your feedback, and again sorry for any inconvenience this might have caused.
