iCalendar
I'm not very familiar with exporting iCalendars, so I was wondering if I needed to export the calendar every time I add a task with a due date on my Todoist?
I ask because I tested it; and the change on the Todoist did not show up in my Google Calendar; but once I re-exported it, it worked. I just didn't know if I needed to re-export everytime which I prefer not to do...or if I needed to wait for a lot longer for the change to show up in my Google Calendar?
Thanks!

Hello Melissa,
the refresh rate of the iCal feed completely depends on the software you're using it with. Most calendar software has a high refresh rate (Outlook checks the feed each time you launch it, for example), unfortunately the Google Calendar updates the iCal feed once a day.
This is something that Google have set in their software and there's unfortunately nothing we can do about this.
You can indeed force an update by re-adding the feed to Google Calendar, but that's not very convenient. We hope they will change it in the future.
Best regards,
David

I've just been trying to find the answer to the same question, so I'm grateful for the explanation.
I suggest you note this on a more visible place, for example, as a short note in iCalendar feed option in Todoist Preferences.
