Hello Greg,

unfortunately, the default relative reminder can't be set globally, but you can edit it by choosing "Reminders" from the gear-icon drop-down menu on the right side visible when hovering over a task or simply add <remind today at 6pm> for example within any task name to set a reminder to any date/time you want.

We will consider adding a global setting to change this in future development, though. Feel free to add this suggestion to our Votebox:
