(hi, so maybe I'm super scatterbrain, but i get really random todos all day. i think of something, and most of it i want to endup in todoist. ive tried like a dozen todo apps in the past few weeks, and like this one the best, because of ease of organizing folders (projects) and tasks, uncluttered website design, and the options for priority, label, search, dates etc... oh yeah and being able to set a default folder for startup, which i change all the time)
however, i find it more convenient to make quick note of an idea on plaintext, so i create long lists there in a doc called notes. then pretty often i go to move it all into a sort of default folder in todoist, and move them to various folders from there. so besides a small desire that you had drag and drop for moving tasks to folders, i wish there was a way to move a list in. i know how to move a list out, the other day, i selected text on the page and imported the text into toodledo, which worked really easy. but i cancelled that account, because i like this site better. so i had second attempt at your site, so i downloaded some software and taught myself how to use this app which allowed me to paste select a portion of the text, cut and hit return with one button, so i preseed this a dozen times and my list was imported. but then if i was traveling or processing my stuff away from home, i wouldn't be able to do this, so i wish you had import text list. and i'm not too worried about backing up, i can select and copy the view all page if it's that big of a deal.

thank you very much for your feedback, we appreciate it and will consider adding such option in future development. you're welcome to add your vote for this request in our Votebox: http://todoist.com/Vote/showProposal/30/
For now, the best way to avoid this issue would be to create a separate "Inbox" project and whenever you like to add some unsorted tasks, you can use this project and just as you type your to-dos in plaintext, you can do so with Todoist and consider the ENTER key as a separator - each time you press it, you'll be able to add another tasks right away.
Later, you could easily sort these tasks by selecting them by clicking on them while holding the CTRL key and then move the selected groups to different projects.
Even if you're traveling, you can use Todoist offline through our iOS app (on iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad) and soon, even the full Todoist web app will be capable of offline work so you can type in your tasks and sync them later once you're online.
