Publishing/Sharing your tasks with managers
I'd like a way to select certain tasks that could be shared or published in some way for my managers to look at.
I currently have to send out a weekly spreadsheet updating the status and actions of all my ongoing projects, which means a lot of copying and pasting actions out of todoist and into excel.
I don't just want to give them access to my account, as some of my to-dos are personal or not relevant to them, but ideally I'd like to be able to select certain projects to share. And I don't need to assign tasks for others to do, just give them insight on what I am going to do for the next week.
Any advice on how to do this?

if you're using a software able to manage print-files (like MS Office OneNote, for example), you could access the project you'd like to share, use the print option and send the document to OneNote from where it could be easily exported.
Alternatively, if the tasks you'd like to share aren't within one project, you could label them and then just browse all tasks with the particular label by clicking on it (and then either "print" the result page or copy/paste it).
You could also try our project manager - Wedoist https://wedoist.com which would allow multiple people to have access to one project and supervise it, assign tasks to you etc.
Unfortunately, there is no direct way to share your Todoist task right now, but we will merge Todoist's and Wedoist's features in future development.
all sub-tasks should be visible from the project view. If you're trying to print a label view, though, please label all sub-tasks with the same tag as the main task. Also, in case of temporal queries, set the due dates of the sub-tasks so that they meet the queried time frame.
In none of this works and you never see sub-tasks from neither of these views, please try to clear your browser cache or print using a different browser.
Is there any way to see subprojects a the same time? For example, I have several projects running under a project called 'Marketing'. I'd like to be able to print all the to-dos for every task and subtask under the 'Marketing' project at once to OneNote.
Is that possible?
although it's not possible to display only a selected group of projects, using the "viewall" (or "va") search query will display all tasks across all project incl. sub-projects.
We will consider adding more advanced queries allowing such option in future development, though. You're welcome to vote for this request in our Votebox:

I have the same issue as Sarah and am curious how she resolved her issue? I also need to print a weekly status for my manager and a monthly one for my CEO. I currently do this in excel so that I can select what I want to show. Would be awesome if there was a special reporting area that would allow you to select which tasks and subtasks you want to show plus page formatting options, maybe even adding your company's logo. This could be quite simple and still be extremely useful.
