Todoist is deleting items

HI Guys,

I'm getting this error message when I tick off certain items in todoist.

Error encountered: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 3.2 Final//EN"> <title>400 Bad Request</title> <h1>Bad Request</h1> Unknown error happened:

After this it then delete's the item. Would be great if this could be fixed as it's deleting notes also.

Hello Michelle,

please tell me:
- What's the exact due date of a task that produces this error?
- From which view are you trying to complete such task?
- Which browser are you using?
- Does this issue also appear in a different browser?
- Is there anything special about these tasks? Are they very long, contain special characters, formatting etc.?
- Can you see the deleted task on the "XX Completed" list?

Best regards,
David

- What's the exact due date of a task that produces this error?
Not sure as they've been deleted....so I'm sorry but I can't tell you. It was either yesterday or the day before I think.

- From which view are you trying to complete such task?
View all projects

- Which browser are you using?
Chrome 17.0.963.33 beta-m
- Does this issue also appear in a different browser?
Not sure as I haven't crossed browser tested this.

- Is there anything special about these tasks? Are they very long, contain special characters, formatting etc.?
There were links in the task referring to a Google Doc

- Can you see the deleted task on the "XX Completed" list?
Upon further investigation I can see these in the list....however there is no datestamp on them and they're buried deep in the list (which is why I thought they were deleted)

So.....summing up .....it looks like the error isn't deleting the items....but it's removing the datestamp from the completed item.

Hope this helps

Michelle,

unfortunately, we've had reports in the past of various issues occurring on non-final versions of the Chrome browser, while none of which occurred in the official release.

If you're using a beta version of Chrome, it would be very helpful if you would try to reproduce this issue either in a different browser or install the latest stable release of Chrome as there's a high chance that this issue might be caused by an unstable browser.

If you still see this error message in a stable browser, please let me know.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Best regards,
David
