I am already working with the latest version - according to the reply when I chose "check for updates".
And no, still I can't reorder projects from my desktop.
to make absolutely sure that you're working on the latest version, please delete it, re-download the installer and reinstall it.
If you still experience this issue, please let me know. Also, please tell me - how does this issue occur exactly, do you see the "Reorder projects" link, but it's not active or it doesn't save the reordered projects?

now I did exactly what you wanted. I deleted todoist, re-downloaded it and can't install it again.
Although it says on your homepage: "Requires Mac OS X 10.5 or better. Creating an account is free and takes 20 seconds."
I am working with Mac OS X 10.6.8.
The download from your homepage is of course working. Trying to install the programm I get the answer: "You cannot use this version of todoist.app with this version of Mac OS X. On your computer is Mac OS X 10.6.8 installed. The programm needs Mac OS X 10.7 or newer."
Actually I didn't plan to spend my time with this nonsense. But since we started it, I would appreciate finding a solution. Because right now I cannot work from my desktop.
And to answer your question: I had the link to reorder projects and I could activate it. Trying to shift the projects with the mouse I moved the window instead and the projects wouldn't move.
So, what do you advice me to do now?
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, but unfortunately since the latest version of our desktop app it based on a new engine, it's necessary to update your system to iOS 10.7.
If you still experience this issue once you've installed the latest app, please let me know and we will try to reproduce and, if necessary, fix it.

Excuse me David? I don't want to update to IOS 10.7. It means buying Lion and Lion is not running stable. I need a good working system because I need a high performance at my work.
When I bought the premium account just a few days ago it was no problem downloading the old version. So is should be possible to provide it for me? Otherwise I would like my money back, because then I will stop using todoist.
You claim on your homepage OS X 10.5 or newer - so you should provide exactly that.
Waiting for your reply...
you can get the old version of our Mac app here: https://d20w07sks2qijv.cloudfront.net/TodoistApp.zip
Please re-install it and let me know if you still experience the reordering issue.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

thanks for helping me out ... Now I am back on my desktop - still with the same problem. It's possible to activate the re-ordering function working on the desktop. Once I try to move projects the whole window will move.
Never mind - I don't like to give you a lot of grey hairs. Anytime from now I might update to OS X 10.7 and then the problem might be solved. Who knows.
Seriously speaking: It is not a problem to do the re-ordering online for the time being.
Since my team and me are right now developing an education website for environmental topics I know that this kind of bugs can cause so much trouble.
So long, thanks a lot for your support

The re-ordering function is also not working on my Mac OS X6.8. When I attempt to reorder the whole window just moves. What did you say is the best way to fix this would be?
mmkaluza on Jan 23, 2012 - 10:31
actually up to now there is no way to fix it but to do it online. It should be working with Mac OS X 1.7 - but right now I am not willing to buy this version.
