+ Add Question

No add task...

Noyhing comes up on the todoist filed = I can add nothing??? I only have the trial version 14 days and would like to have the opportunity to try before the 14 days ends.

I am using MS Outlook 2010, on a exchange.

what can I do?

Hello Johnny,

Please tell me - you click on an email in Outlook once to highlight it (not open it), then enter a project in the Todoist plugin pane, scroll to the bottom and don't see the "Add email as task" link there? Or do you click on the + icon in Todoist to open the "Quick Add" box and also don't see "Add email as task" in this window?

Hello David

I cannot do anything, the todoist panel is blank. I right click an email and push add todoist and nothing happens?

Thank you for clarifying. In this case, please tell me - are you using any anti-virus software or proxies? If you're connecting through a proxy, is it configures in Internet Explorer's settings (as this is where our plugin tries to check proxy settings)?

Yes, we use an TMG (Threat Managment Gateway) as Proxy Server. It´s distributed automatically via script.
Anti Virus= yes, Microsoft Forefront

Johnny,

Please confirm, did you configure proxies in IE? Our plugin uses IE's settings if proxies are used. Unfortunately, if either the proxy configuration or the anti-virus software is blocking Todoist from connecting to the internet, then we can't address it on our end :-(

However, we will consider adding separate proxy configuration settings to the plugin in future updates.

I gave the problem to our internal IT – support and they will get back to me tomorrow. Hope to solved it by then. If not maybe I will get back with more questions.

I've just developed a similar problem in Outlook. When I click the + to add a task or the the "lines" on a task to add a note all I get a blank screen and the only way to see existing tasks is to press the ESC key. This was working fine up until about an hour ago. I also have the Windows version on my PC and it works fine.

I have restarted Outlook and the PC but it has made no difference

Any thoughts?

Hello Jamie,

Please try to go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Todoist\Outlook, delete the "Cache" folder here, reload Outlook and let me know if the issue persists.
