Date provided while adding new task

Hi...

I have configured a default filter - "od, today, p1, p2". Unfortunately I also have some overdue tasks.

When I want to add a new task a date of the oldest task in this view is already provided. So if I want to add a new task everytime I need to delete or change this date.

Is this a bug or a new feature of the todoist?

Best regards,
Michał

Hello,

This issue has been fixed, but requires deleting Todoist's offline cache. This can be done:

In Chrome - go to Advanced Settings -> Content Settings -> All cookies and site data, find and delete all Todoist-based entries on this list.

In Firefox - go to Options -> Advanced -> Network and delete Todoist-based entries from the list of sites storing offline data.

In Outlook or the Windows app, delete the "Cache" folder located in C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Todoist\Windows ... or \Outlook.

David

Hello.

Sorry for a late answer.

The problem has been fixed but only in the way that the today's date is provided in the date field instead of the date of an oldest overdue task.
The date field was always empty when adding new task.

I have cleared offline cache in Firefox, I tested it in Chrome - same results.

Michal

Michal,

It always added the "today" date when you've accessed the field while being in the "today" view. Please enter a project or any other filter and here it will not add any default date.

David,

I am adding new task when I have filter "od, today, p1, p2, p3" applied... and I have the date provided in the form.

And by the way and sort of off topic - is there a way to get a notification when there will be new answer for my question?

Regards,
Michał

Michał,

This filter also contains "today" as a separate element. If it was part of a query with boolean operators, this wouldn't happen.

David,

I understand. Now it make sense. On the other hand it is a pity, because this rule was not applied before.

I might have clicked an "unsubscribe" a while ago. Is there a way to un-unsubscribe?

Michał,

The only way to resubscribe would be to click the unsubscribe link again and then choose to subscribe back on the page it will redirect you to. Do you have at least one such email in your inbox (maybe archived directly on your mail provider's webmail)?

David,

Nice idea, but unfortunately after clicking the link "An unknown error happened".
But this is not a major problem for me and I can live with that.

Thanks for the help and clarification.

Best regards,
Michał
