Unable to login in from iPad with Google

P

Logged out from my iPad yesterday because it had not updated in 3 week and I couldn't get it to refresh. When I try to log back in (Google Account), it gives me the error "Expected status code in (200-299) got 400." I click OK and it churns forever. I am still logged in on my phone and I can log in from the web using my Google account. Please help.

ios 6.1.3
TODOist i don't know. I can't open it. The app store has an update to 8.4.1, but it requires iOS7.

Hi,

Yes, we recently updated everything, and now it requires iOS 7+ for it to be working. We wish we could keep supporting the older version, but we had to make a choice.

Brendon

So I need to upgrade to the new version?

Will it retain all of the stuff that hasn't synched in the last 3 weeks?

Unfortunately, the unsynced changes can't be recovered :-( Sorry for the inconvenience.

David

Wow! That is so bad I don't have room to express my dissatisfaction. You mean to tell me that even though all of my updates are still on my iPad right now and I just can't get to them, that I need to completely erase them in order to continue using your product and there is no alternative. I can't imagine you will get a good comment from me and i will have to start looking for a product that is more substantially supported.

Please confirm that my assertions are correct and that there is no way to retrieve the items on my iPad now that I logged off and am unable to log back on. This is very distressing and I need you to confirm that there is NO WAY to programmatically retrieve the items that were not synched before I update the application and they are gone forever.

Hi,

Yes you are correct. We are very sorry about this, but we needed to make the change. Now your information should have been synced, and I am not sure what happened for 3 weeks, did you ever contact us? We may been able to fix this in that time.

Because of this, and the timing of this change, that information can not be recovered. Again, we are very sorry about that.

Regards,
Brendon
