recurring task did not become overdue on due date

CH

I have a monthly task setup to occur every 16th - the last two months this task has not shown up in my "overdue, today" list and indeed is not there today on the 17th. I have plenty of other weekly and monthly recurring tasks that do work, but this one does not.

If I look now for 16th Sep - it now shows up there - it appears to have automatically rescheduled on the 16th Aug to the 16th Sep without any input from me.

Is there any way I can check what is happening here?

Hi Chris,

Sadly, there's no way to check what exactly happened to it. Can you try reproducing the problem? If we can, then I should be able to report it to our developers and have it fixed.

Thanks Clyde,

I'm almost certain this happened with the same task last month - it seems to hit the due date and automatically extend for a month.

When is the best time to update this job - it's due on the 16th, should I check back on the 15th and send screenshots?

Cheers,
Chris.

Hi Chris,

Screenshots would be helpful but if you can monitor how it exactly happens, that would be even better. Being able to replicate an issue really helps in providing a fix a faster. Please monitor the behaviour and let me know how it goes.

Hi Clyde,

So on the plus side - the issue didn't occur this morning - so that's good and bad - good that it didn't happen, bad that I couldn't replicate the behaviour (by doing nothing same as last month).

Consider this closed and I'll re-log should anything occur in the future.

Cheers,
Chris.
