Sync / App Launch Issue

VM

Todoist launches automatically when I start my computer. When I start my computer without an internet connection, Todoist does not load my tasks. Even after I connect to the internet, Todoist fails to load my tasks, regardless of how long I wait. I just see a circular arrow that indicates Todoist is trying to load them?

My tasks only load when I quit Todoist, and then re-launch it after my computer is already connected to the internet.

I am running Windows 7.

Hi Varun,

Please try re-installing the app to check if that helps. Also, is this a new behaviour or has it work this way since you start using the Windows desktop app.

I have reinstalled the app. It was able to download my tasks after I installed the app, but any changes I make through the desktop app do not sync to the cloud.

I have exactly the same issue as Varun Mokhashi. 1st time run of Win app was a failure, then reinstall, success and good syncing and now I'm constantly "offline", unable to sync from Win app. Wanted to move to you guys, your app and approach have some nice touches, but for now Todoist fail. Sync is essential and it is NOT working. I have all the latest versions of your soft for Win and Android. I am using Win 7.

Hi,

When you try to click the TD logo in the upper right corner to do a sync, does it work and syncs your task?

Did you download the installer from this link http://todoist.com/windows ?

Hi,

Also, try logging out and back in again as that has helped other users who reported a similar issue. Please let me know how it goes.

There is no TD logo in the upper right. There is one in the bottom left, and it takes me to the TD web app when I click on it.
There is also a sync icon in the bottom right (a circular arrow). When I click that, it disappears, but the app does not actually sync my tasks.

Logging out and back in seems to have resolved the issue. I will update this thread if the app does not continue to work as expected.
