Why is reminder "at" required?

I

I am trying to setup a Reminder just by typing "tomorrow 9am" but it's invalid because it's missing the "at" or "@".

Any reason why "tomorrow 9am" could not valid?

Related, but unrelated issue. On Chrome 36.0.1985 OSX after it shows me the the "Invalid Date" modal, I hit enter to close the modal, but seems like the focus is still on the reminder field, because I get the same modal, I need to hit Esc to close the modal.

Thank you,
^_^
