My mac version of Todoist does not keep completed items complete

HS

I've checked off the same todo's multiple times and ever time I come back into my mac version they pop back on as over due items. It's frustrating.

How is this todo management if I can't ever actually check anything off as complete?

Hi Heather,

If you complete something on the Mac App does the website version update? If you sign out, clear the cache for Safari (our app uses this) and then back in, does it continue?

The mobile app updates, but when I log out of the mac and get back in I
still see many of the same todos. not all of them...which is weird. maybe
it's tied to due date or something. I just logged out and logged back in
via mac... 2-3 of the todos from yesterday that I completed are there
again... AND on the web.

It's kind of a moving target.

Sorry. I know that's not helpful. I'm a software designer/dev manager and
I'm not helping you in repro.

I'll try and walk through the steps when I have time. I just am swamped
right now and trying to use todoist to manage my swamped-ness is making me
pull my hair out :-(

Hi Heather,

We just released a new version of the Mac app but it requires you to use OSX version 10.9 or higher. If you have time and your Macbook/iMac uses the supported OSX version, please update to it and check if that helps with your issue.

I'm on 10.9.2. If there's an update, I'll update now. Thanks

I just wanted to follow up and tell you that the fix did not fix the
problem. I'm still seeing the same completed items in my to do list AFTER
already marketing them complete. I mark them off the mac version, see them
in the ipad version. Then I mark them off my ipad version and see them
back in my mac version.

it's totally frustrating and I'm contemplating not using todoist. This
isn't helping me productive, it's more frustrating than helpful. My todo
list seems to be ever expanding even though I am actually completing items!

Heather,

We are sorry about that. We are going to be releasing a new iOS app very soon, that address' many sync issues, and I believe this will be resolved when that is updated.
