How can I add an email as a task in Thunderbird, as easily as I can in Outlook?
Well you need to download and install our extension Todoist.com/thunderbird and it should basically act exactly the same as the Outlook version.
Let me know if you have any trouble.
I have done that; when I click on add email as a task, the email
envelope symbol appears, but it does not link to the email. Am I

Please clarify - you click on an email, then on "Add email as task" in Todoist and when you do that, the task input field shows up, but it's empty, it only shows the envelope and even if you add text there, it will not be linked to the message?
Also, does the message you select have a subject?
So the message does have a subject, is that correct?
Which Thunderbird version, and which OS are you running? We can not seem to reproduce this issue. Do you have any other extensions installed for Thunderbird?

Thank you for your help!
Please update to Thunderbird 31.0 and if the issue persists, disable the "URL Link" extension. If that won't help either, try to disable all extensions and then (assuming it will help), re-enable them one-by-one to see which one was causing this.
That worked; thank you!
