Exact search pattern

TV

Hi,

I prefixed certain master and sub-projects with same identifier, eg "[S] Shopping" as master project and then also "[S] Food", "[S] Drinks,... as subprojects. This should allow me to create a [S] filter that returns one list with all my tasks across master and sub projects.

I tried a p:[S] - syntax , ie no "", for the filter but that returned a full list of all my tasks containing the letter "S" irrespective of the surrounding []. If I put " " around the filter syntax (ie p:"[S]"), it doesn't return anything.

What is the correct syntax for doing an exact search of [S] in a filter?

Tim

Hello Tim,

Not sure, [S] should work, but since that's a new feature we're still testing, I'll pass it to our developers and we'll look into it. Thank you for your report :-)

David

Tim,

This issue has now been fixed and you can search for p:[S]. Aside from that, the p: syntax will now search in sub-projects by default.
