Email client with add task from email feature

GS

OK. I simply gave up on Thunderbird and decided to try Postbox. Looks good so far and the Todoist addin does seem to work better with Postbox. We'll see...

In the meantime, I'd still like the add a task from an email feature on my Android email client. As far as I can tell, no Android email clients support Todoist via an addon or whatever.

Are there any plans for this?

Can you recommend an Android email client that might in the future have a ToDoist addin?

Can you suggest an Android email client that might have features that seem to work well with ToDoist?

BY THE WAY, I HAVE SEVERAL IMAP EMAIL ACCOUNTS WHICH I USE AND DO NOT USE OR CARE ANYTHING ABOUT GMAIL.

Hi,

At this time the only other option for mobile is to email a project. You can read more about it here.https://todoist.com/blog/2013/01/zero-inbox-policy-with-todoist/

We hope we can support all kinds of plugins and clients as time goes on.

Brendon

Yes, I know about emailing a project - which is a lousy substitute for a plugin in an email client. Since I'm sure you know well the inadequacies and complaints about that particular feature, I won't list them for you.

I bought ToDoist Premium last year and gave up on it after a few months because the Thunderbird plug-in kept breaking. I'm back because I'm hopeful that the Postbox plugin will be more reliable.

Surely, you could pick ONE Android email client and write a plug-in for it. I really don't care which Android email client as long as it supports IMAP. The Android email client doesn't have to be free. I'm already paying for ToDoist and for Postbox.

I've found other todo lists I GREATLY prefer over ToDoist, but at least ToDoist integrates with a Windows email client I'm willing to use, so I'm back to using ToDoist again.

How long I stay, or if I renew my subscription in December will depend on whether you or someone else comes up with a ToDo list that will integrate with an Android email client and also with a Windows email client. As soon as that happens, if it isn't ToDoist, I'm out of here. Given the way people work today, I just can't imagine what's more important for you guys than a plug-in for Android and for iPhone..
