login Thunderbird 31.0 doesn`t work

Hi,
I just installed the Thunderbird plugin but the system does not accept my login data. Within the web browser it works.

What can do?

Hi Stefan,

Can you check if it allows you to manually log-in? What error/warning do you get when you try to sign in?

I tryed only to manually log-in. I get no error/warning. My login data
just disapear after pressing the login button.

Any idea?

Was this working before? Or is this the first time you're trying it out?

I'd like you to try one more thing before I pass this to our developers. Can try reinstalling the plug-in to see if that makes a difference? Thanks in advance!

this is the first time I´m trying it out.

I reinstalled the plugin and it makes no difference. After pressing the
login button my login data just disappear without any further feedback ...

Hello Stefan,

Please tell me - did you originally create the Todoist account using "Sign-up with Google" or by manually entering an email/password combination? If you've set it up via Google, then before you can try to log in manually, you have to go to the Settings -> Account and create a password for your Todoist account.

Aside from that, please go to Thunderbird's Options -> Advanced -> Network and clear the cache, then go to the "Security" tab and make sure that it accepts cookies.

I deleted my cache - no difference. On your website it works - not so
within Thunderbird.

I tried only to manually login. I get no error/warning. My login data

Any further idea? Without Thunderbird-integration todoist doesnt make
scence for me ...

Stefan,

Instead of clicking on the Login button, please try to go to the email or password field and hit Enter.

Also, are you using Firefox as your main browser? If so, try to log out from Todoist in Firefox.

Hi David,

the solution of my login-problem within thunderbird is to allow cookies.

So everything works fine now :-))))
