I just upgraded to premium, and I am unable to see a gear icon in my project window. I must be dong something fundamentally wrong, but I can't figure out what it is.
Can you attach a screenshot? There is no gear icon within a project, but a wrench icon at the top right, beside a share button.
That being said, iOS is different then the desktop versions. There are no gear icons, what exactly are you trying to accomplish?
Thank you for getting back to me so quickly. I've been trying to learn how to email a task to the application as described on this page (By extension, figuring out how to sort my lists would be nice as well).
I've been unable to figure it out from my iphone, ipad, or on the web from a PC. I'm feeling quite the idiot.
You can only configure this in the web for now. The icon has changed since the last redesign. I have attached an updated screenshot for you. Check that to see how to import tasks to a project.

Well, two steps forward; one step back
I was able to get the email address for my work project. Unfortunately when I sent an email to that address from both my iphone and my Outlook account I received the following message:
Todoist could not process this due to a model error.
The cause is unknown, but could be related to a deleted item.
If you wish to send emails from this address add it to your Todoist account:
The URL above just takes me to the todoist home page; Logging in doesn't get me any further. Do you have any suggestions from here?

Please log in on the web (on a non-mobile device), right-click on a project, go to "Email tasks to this project", scroll to the bottom of this window and enter all email addresses through which you're planning to send emails as task to Todoist.
Fell free to also use wildcard domains, for example @gmail.com
If that doesn't help, let us know if this happens only if you try to sent a task via email to this one project or also to another, preferably newly created project.
