Problem related to french accent

Hi,

When ever you enter a new task for saturday and press"add task", the system will enter the task and bring you directly to the saturday tasks so you can see you added task.

In english... no problem.

in french, you add your task, specify the date, press "ajouter une tâche"... And it will bring you to that date... but there is not task on that date !!! why ? because it looks for ex: aou 6"... the word "aou" is not found, cause it's missing a little hat ex: aoû !!!! if I type it manually, aoû 6 with the hat, I can see all my tasks !!

Thanks for fixing it.

Dany

Hi,

Can you confirm a few things. Which app are you using, our Windows app? Which OS version? Does this occur anywhere else (web?

Is your desktop, and Todoist settings both set to French?

Brendon

Dany,

Please go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Todoist\Windows, delete the "Cache" folder here and then reload the Windows app.

Dany,

That's indeed a different issue, we're looking into it now, sorry for the inconvenience. For now, please try to set your date format from MM-DD to DD-MM which will allow you to set dates.

David
