mobile cannot refresh

Mobile app keeps saying cannot refresh, try again later. I thought it was my connection but i tried on my home wifi and same thing. Does this mean it isnt syncing with computer version?

Hi,

Which android version are you running, are you rooted or anything such as this? Please head to Android settings, Apps, find Todoist and clear data. Then try again.

now it says I have NO tasks and STILL says 'couldn't refresh...'

android version 4.4.2. I have no idea what rooted means. I have very limited tech knowledge

Hi,

Did you clear data? On your Android device, head to where the apps are, open Settings, go to Applications, find Todoist, then there will be a button called Clear Data.

Once that is done, try to log back in and see if it still occurs.

i am uninstalling and reinstalling the app. i don't know what else to do. wtf with this day.

ok. that worked. but please tell me how for that to never happen again. I lost a lot of data. I have no idea what things I added and changed now. Pissed. Really pissed.

Hi,

Data should not have been lost, at least not if the app had time to sync with our servers. If you check online, do you see the same data?

It would seem to be a connection issue, but as you said you changed to WiFi, it could still have been that. As there are no other reports of this issue.

It is the same now as what is on the computer, but all the changes I had made on the mobile app are not there. I had been trying on 4g as well as a good quality wifi connection

Did you notice anything out of the ordinary with the app/device that might point us the cause of the problem? Unfortunately, we can't replicate this issue.
