Daily tasks marked done are scheduled next for tomorrow

Daily tasks, when marked complete, are next scheduled for tomorrow. This happens even when the task being marked complete was in a previous day. If it's a task I complete late at night (and usually there's 1-2 of these per day) then marking them complete the next morning requires hunting them down and rescheduling them for today.

Is there a mode or toggle to change this behavior?

Also, while I'm at it, is there a way to display all instance of a recurrent task? That is, if looking at tomorrow I'd like to see daily tasks whether I've completed today's or not.

Hello,

Unfortunately, that's not possible right now. The task will always move to the next occurrence calculated based on the date it's been checked off so completing it after midnight will move it to "tomorrow" which will be the next day.

We'll look into this and will consider adding an option to set when Todoist should consider a day to end.

David

Reg. your second question - it's not possible to see all recurrences of the task, only the one "you're at" and the next if you either complete or postpone the current instance.

However, if you would use our iCal feed (in Settings -> General), then most calendar apps would show all occurrences this way.
