Cannot login using my google account

I tried to login to the plugin in thunderbird using my google account, but it told me that I must activate cookies.

Hi Ronny,

Can you please try adding a password in Todoist Setting -> "General" tab? Once you've done that, try manually logging in using the same email address and your newly created password. Please let me know how it goes.

Hi Ronny,

You can view it in the web. You should see the gear in the upper right corner of the screen. Select "Todoist Setting" and go to the "Accounts" tab from there.

I see my lists in
the browser fine.

Changed the
password in the account. What else?

Try logging in manually by using the your email and the password you just created. Do you get the same problem?

No.
From Google I get:


Oops! Your browser seems to have cookies
disabled. Make sure cookies are enabled or try opening a new
browser window.
Using password, I get no respond. The page just refreshes.

Hello Ronny,

Please tell me, does your Thunderbird accept cookies? The error message suggests that that's the issue. Please go to TB's Options -> Security, make sure that you "Accept cookies from sites", keep cookies: "Until they expire" and if this alone won't help, "Manage exceptions" add todoist.com on this list and set it to allow.

It worked.

I do not want cookies from every
website, so I put Google as allowed exception.
