cannot edit projects

In Firefox 31.0 I cannot use any item in the menus to the right of the projects. When I click the "..." three dots the pop up menu appears. But as soon as I move my mouse it disappears. I only have this problem with Firefox.

I cleared the cache and made sure I have the most current version of Firefox.

It is the same on the website and the Firefox app/plugin

It seems to be related to the scroll bar for the projects. If I go to the top of my project list and select a project that is below the scroll bar but not low enough to force a scroll, it is ok. Anything more then halfway down my list does not work.

Hi Jon,

Is there a way you can record the behaviour so we can pass it along to our developer? You can use this website to do that: http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/.

Or if you can't, just provide me the exact steps to follow just to be sure that I'm not misunderstanding the issue when I'm try to replicate it on our end.

Regards,

Clyde

Clyde,

I can confirm this issue in Pale Moon (firefox clone) Version: 24.5.0 (x86) in Linux.

Also, this bug seems to be Firefox-specific - I've just tried Chrome 24.0.1312.56 and it works fine.

Here is how you can replicate this:

1. on the sidebar (left side, where the projects are listed), right-click on the project.
2. the menu appears with "Add project above", "Add project below" and so on.
3. move the mouse to the menu - as soon as the mouse reaches the menu, the menu disappears.

The bug appeared sometime on Friday/Saturday (25/26 July) I suppose.

To add to Jon's comments: Indeed, if you scroll to the very top of the project list and right-click on the project's name, everything works fine (in Firefox/Chrome).

Once you scroll down the proejct list from the top (even a little), the right-click action on the project stops working.

Virens description of the problem is spot on. But, another thing I just noticed is that on my home computer it seems to be ok. I will try my work computer on Monday and report back here.

How can I block users to edit tasks and projetcs?

Guilherme,

I've replied to your other thread now :-) Basically, that's currently not possible - everyone who's invited to a project has full access to it.

David
