German Filters, English Language set

SM

Hi,

I accidentally signed up on the german site so reset the language on the web account and web and PC are fine but my ios iphone 5 has the filters still in German (everything else is ok), I've tried logging out and in again but it does not solve the issue.

Hello Simon,

The iOS app will always use the language you have your phone set to in the language settings and it will use the regional settings for due dates.

That said, is your phone set to English language and also UK/US as the regional settings?

Best regards,
David

Hi David,
Thanks for the quick reply - my phone language is set to English and region format is United Kingdom. It's only the filters that are in German, not the rest of the App.

Kind Regards

Simon

Simon,

Thanks for clarifying - in that case, please try to edit the filter's names directly on the phone and let me know if they would still revert back to their old names after that.

Best regards,
David

Hi,

I'm afraid I'm not a premium user so am not able to edit the names.

Kind Regards

Simon

Simon,

In that case, it's unfortunately not possible to change them :-( not even for us as we don't have access to user's data.

That said, the only workaround (aside from getting Premium with all the great features it offers ;-) ) would be to delete your account and sign-up again. Note - this will permanently delete all data on it, but if you've signed-up just recently and still don't have a lot of tasks, you could go to Settings -> Account and use the "Delete my account" link.

Best regards,
David

All sorted after deleting and starting again - an export would have helped but not to worry.

Thanks for the help.

Kind Regards
