Not correctly syncing

I made a number of changes via Explorer on my desktop machine yesterday. These are not showing on the app on my iPhone (I have refreshed several times, uninstalled and reinstalled the app etc...).

Eventually I logged in through Safari on my iPhone, and what I see matches the App.

How is this possible?

Hi Rebecca,

Sorry you're having this sync issues. We have gotten some reports about this problem but we couldn't reproduce this ourself. Did you notice any pattern that would help us replicate the issue?

Hi Clyde,

No I'm afraid not. The only thing I did yesterday that I've never done before is import a back-up? Could it be related to that?

Hi Rebecca,

Creating a backup shouldn't cause that problem. Can you please observe it and if it happens again, note anything that you think that's relevant and reported it back to us?

Yes I will let you know if it happens again. In the meantime, how do I fix it?

Hi Rebecca,

Logging out and back in of the iOS app and web should fix this. Are you still having problems with the tasks not being synced?

I have logged out and back into the desktop version, and have now lost everything I did last night and this morning. But they are now (at least) are all the same.

Sadly, we may have lost those tasks. You can try checking the backup to see if you can find those tasks there. :-(
