Black Todoist pane

The Todoist plugin only displays a black pane, see the attached picture. The installation is fresh of today. I never had the plugin installed on this computer, neither the old plugin.

I have had a similar problem with Spotify, where the web component dosn't work well with the ATI GPU in my system. I start Spotify with some extra command line options which negates the problem.
Spotify\spotify.exe --disable-accelerated-layers --disable-accelerated-fixed-root-background

Harald Hansen

Hello Harald,

Thank you for your report. This is an issue we've been looking into for a while and unfortunately couldn't spot the source of it, but I'll pass the information you've provided to our developers and hopefully it will point them in the right direction.

I found that the pane is normal when the AMD discrete GPU is disabled, ie when the laptop runs on battery without an external monitor. This problem is probably equal to the above mentioned Spotify issue.

Can you ask the devs to put in an option to disable the functions in webkit, which I assume you're using, in a config file?

Best regards,

I'll jump on this as well, as it was mentioned in another thread. Set Todoist (and Spotify) to use the intel GPU. I have a similar setup to yours and this fixed my issue. The AMD Radeon swtiching drivers have been a long source of pain for owners of my particular laptop.
