Managing my leads in Salesforce in todoist

Can you suggest any best practice as to how to manage my sales leads in todoist. I get so many leads in salesforce. Right now I am adding everything in work project only. I add name of the lead in it and add sub tasks associated to him. But with number of leads flooding in it is getting cluttered. Cant seem to find a better way of managing my leads. Pls help

Hi Ankit,

What other type of information do you want to add? You can actually attach links to tasks as well. This is useful for linking webpages for easy access. You can also utilize notes to attach info, images, and other related files for your clients.

If you can elaborate more about your goals, I may be able to provide detailed tips for you.

Clyde

Hi Clyde,

That's great. How do I attach links to the task?

Hello Ankit,

To add a link into a task, simply copy/paste the URL and Todoist will make it clickable :-)

You can modify the anchored text by using this format:

https://google.com (Link)

where the word "Link" would be linked to the URL before it.

Ankit,

It works like any other application or website. Say you click on the address bar, right click, copy. When you are in edit more or creating a new task within Todoist, you should be able to right click, Paste.

Brendon.

Hi Ankit,

Try logging out and back again of the app. Does that help?

Hello Ankit,

Please clarify - you enter a project (not a filter and not a date-based view or label view etc.), you hover over any task inside this project and do you see the handle icon on the left side at this point, but can't use it to drag & drop the task, or do you not see this icon? Please clarify at what point exactly does the issue occur so we can better understand it and assist you with a solution.

David

Hi David,

Thanks fro the help.

One more question. I don't see the add button in gmail client. I do notice the todoist tab in bottom right corner. Is it available only in paid version?

I have installed it. There should be an ADD button from where I can add emails to my tasks right?

Hi Ankit,

Yes, there should be. Please note that you have to be inside the email to see the ADD button. Also make sure that 3rd party cookies is enabled as it's necessary for the extension to work.

Hello Ankit,

That's not possible. Projects are like folders and tasks are like files. You can only have this task inside one project/folder. You can create another one with the same name in a different project, but these will be 2 separate tasks.

However, if you're asking because you'd like to have more context in a task than just one project name, then you could use labels instead :-) Simply type any word after @ inside the task's name and it will get a label of this name. So, for example, the task could be in a project called "work" and have the labels @waiting @urgent @report.
