Hi Cristiano,

You can use ":to others:, :to all:". Tasks are automatically sorted by priority and then by date in filtered views. Make sure to not include the quotes when you use the filter.

Hi Clyde!
That sounded interesting and I tried it.
Unfortunately it doesn't work at all. It gives me two separate list - one titled "to others" of of tasks assigned to others and one titled "to all" that claims that no task fits that term.
And no, I didn't include the quotes.
Best wishes

Hi Silvia,

Sorry my mistake. It should be ":to others:, :to me:". I misremembered it the ":all:" filter which shows you all tasks including all tasks that are delegated.

For some reason, ":to others: | :to me:" does not work as expected but I have reported this to our developers already so they can take a look at it. Sorry for the confusion.

Clyde

Hello Clyde!

I tried ":to others:, :to me:" but that doesnt report the unassigned tasks in the non-shared projects.
How do I get those, too?

Best wishes

Hello Clyde!

So, I tried "!:to others". It lists the unassigned tasks, but sorts them by priority first and by date afterwards.
Meaning, you get a list of all priority 1 tasks, sorted by due date, and then all priority 2 tasks, sorted by date.
What I (and the original poster) wanted is all tasks sorted by date.
Is that possible?

Best wishes

Hi Silvia,

Try using try using ":all:" to see if that shows all of the tasks that you're looking for. As mentioned in my first reply, tasks in filtered view are sorted automatically by priority and then by date. Unfortunately, there's no way change that for now.

Hello Clyde!

Unfortunately, the ":all:" filters exactly the same way... (Priority first, due date afterwards).

Hi Silvia,

I should have clarified that ":all:" just shows you the all tasks (including one delegated to other users) and has nothing to do with sorting tasks.

There's actually no way to change the default behaviour of sorting tasks (priority then date) in a filtered view. We hope to provide more sorting options in the future.
