How do I save a yahoo or work email as a task?

D

Hi
I read my yahoo and my work(myname@company.com) emails on my windows 7 pc with my chrome browser. How do I save an email as a task? Ideally, using a keyboard shortcut?
Thanks

Hi Darryl,

It's not currently possible with Yahoo. We have clients for Outlook (windows), Postbox, Thunderbird, and Gmail. So Yahoo directly is not possible, if you install one of our clients for those, and have Yahoo added there, its possible.

And, just to clarify, I open yahoo.com, then click mail and read my email in Chrome. I would like to use a keyboard short cut to save an email as a task to my TODOIST inbox. I also read my work emails, using my chrome browser to company.com/webmail and then opening my email account and then reading emails...I would like to use a keyboard shortcut to save an email to my TODOIST inbox. How do I do that?
Thanks.

Hi BRendon
Thanks for your reply...I was typing and posting my second post just as you replied to my first post.

Hi again. Will todoist have a yahoo client and some way for me to save email tasks with work emails anytime soon, let's say, before the end of 2014? Or is this a feature that I should not expect?

Darryl,

Its always possible but in terms of that due date, no it will not happen, unlikely. Though we do have another option, which is emailing a project instead.

You can read more about it here. https://todoist.com/blog/2013/01/zero-inbox-policy-with-todoist/
