Hello Hans,

Please tap on a task, edit it, tap on the clock to get to the reminders menu and then on the left side of the input field, you can select what type of reminders you want to use - "before task", "on a date and time" or "location".

Best regards,
David

Frank,

We will take that into consideration, we didn't feel the need, as it is just another way to add a reminder, in the same way other reminders are added :)

Brendon.

I put an address in for location at my desktop and it keeps asking for a location. Why?

Hello Tracy,

Please log out, clear your browser's cache, disable any ad- or script-blocking plugins which may prevent Todoist from opening Google Maps, reload the browser and let us know if the issue persists.

Best regards,
David

cleared my browser. What plug-ins would interfere? Where would I find those.

Lukasz,

Adblock or similar ones which block ads or scripts on websites. You should know if they are installed, checking the installed ones depends on which browser you are using :)

If clearing the cache and offline data did not help, I am not sure what the issue is as I have yet been able to reproduce this issue. Have you tried in another browser?

Regards,
Brendon.

Lukasz,

Yes it is on Android on the latest app version. Go to the Reminder options just like normal, and Location will be a choice. Click the task, 3 dots, Reminders :)

Brendon.

The todoist works fine in chrome or any browser. I only have an issue in the application for windows. The issue i am having is on the desktop application that i downloaded and installed from the Todoist site.

I stand corrected it is now working on my desktop app. I have no explanation for it to start working but I am happy it is now. Thank you everyone for your responses.

Unfortunately not showing up as a option in Android when I go to set a reminder. All there is "on a date" or "before"

Ive turned my GPS and location settings are on. Are there other setting I need activate?

Lukasz,

Then you are not on the latest app version, please check the Play Store and update.

I agree with those that said this should be added to a help document. Figured it out with the help of this post. :-S

Agree with the others - this is a killer feature. It's huge. And it's really disappointing that it's not more obvious how to do this and that I and the OP are having to ask in the support section is evidence of this.

My suggestion is that you put a globe beside the clock. It would then be immediately apparent. A clock simply says to a user like me: time-based reminders, and I don't think to press a clock to get a location reminder. :-S

Still loving this app.
