Can you explain further, did you get any error messages? How do you have your phone number setup?

Just set it up per the instructions, my cell number only, 303-434-9346... The test SMS works but when I set a Notification say to go off at the time of my event or say earlier... No SMS. Have gone back over everything quite a few times but can't see why it doesn't work... But it doesn't. Thx

Hi Robert,

Can you please do a test for me? Create a task with an SMS reminder. Take a screenshot of the reminder option that you have chosen and forward it to me so I can check it in our logs. Let me know if you're still not getting the SMS reminder.

Also, make sure to include the task description in the screenshot as I'll be using that when I'm searching the logs. Thanks in advance!

I haven't been receiving any SMS reminders. On the settings, I receive a notice when I hit test SMS, but not on any projects. I dont use a country code... it never asked for one and my test come across correctly.
It seems from reading the blogs, a few people are having problems, could it be a ios problem with the latest Apple update in the last week or so ?

Hi,

Can you confirm you have tried with the country code, as that should be needed for these to work properly.

No error messages... Nothing at all. I set up my phone number, (area code, my number), hit test SMS, receive the test like everything is set up correctly and working, but then no SMS reminder.
Checked and rechecked many times to see if I missed something .. But no.

Putting in the country code did not help.... It still didn't work, no error message, nothing at all.
Again no SMS notification at all.

I typed in the reminders many ways
Today at 0900.
Used the date at a certain time.
10 minutes before.
30 minutes before.
After an event started.
Any and every way I could think of. Country code, no country code. You name it, I tried it...set SMS as my default, took it out as my default.
I sure hope you find the problem as without being able to have SMS notifications, is pretty much a deal breaker. Thx again and good luck.

I'm also experiencing problems with SMS reminders.

* In my preferences I have an area code and number, but no country code. I'm able to request (and receive) a test SMS via Todoist.
* If I try to request an SMS reminder via a task, it never gets to me (or never sends, not sure which).

If you need someone else to help test/troubleshoot, I'm happy to help!

Since I just tried to set an SMS reminder again, and it's still not working, I'm guessing you still haven't fixed the problem ?
Just thought I'd ask again, as I stated earlier... A few days ago, keeping Todoist without having SMS reminders is not an option.

My SMS notifications were working (last month, at least), and now no longer work. Any ideas? My mobile number is the same... I haven't changed anything, to my knowledge.

Hello Dave,

Please go to Settings -> Reminders, make sure your phone number includes your country code and check each of the 4 outgoing numbers. Let me know if at least one of them works.

Robert,

They should work all the time now. Feel free to try each of the 4 countries to send from and make sure the phone number is entered like this: +123456798 incl. your country code.

Hi Adam,

Can you confirm if you got the test SMS message that I just generated? I have checked our logs and it looks like that it was sent successfully. Also, I see that other messages have been tagged as "delivered".

Can you do an actual SMS reminder on a task and let me know if it still doesn't work?

Just to confirm, you don't have your number in a do not call list, correct? And your number is allowed to receive international SMS, right?
