sync from iOS to web not working

M

I have lost most of my tasks on the web, but they are all still on my iPhone.

If I archive a project on the web and then unarchive the project, the tasks on the web reappear.

If I add a task on the web it shows on the iPhone, but tasks on projects on my iPhone are not missing from the web.

When I looked at one of the backups, all the missing tasks are in the backup file.

Why would tasks be in the backup file and showing on my iPhone client but not showing on the web for the same project?

Hi,

Please confirm, the iPhone version has the correct information, the web is missing information? What happens if you log out, clear the cache for your browser?

Regards,
Brendon.

My iPhone has the correct tasks under each project.

I verified the account information on my iPhone and WEB is identical (same name and email address)

I have tried three different browsers (IE, Firefox and Chrome) on three different computers, and the web site always only shows a partial list of tasks under the projects as compared to what my iPhone shows.

I also did a test where I added a new project on the web, and it shows up immediately on my iphone.

I added a task on my iPhone and it shows up on the web

However, I have several projects that have more (and correct) tasks on my iPhone then show on the web.

For example, I have one project on my iPhone that shows 11 active tasks but on the website for the same project, it only shows 3 tasks?

Hi,

Please tell me what happens when you log out from the web, clear the cache and offline data for the browser and sign back in? Does this still happen?

Regards,
Brendon.

I tried that and no change.

This is what is strange. For example, I have a project "Team Meeting" and on the web, it showed no tasks. On my iPhone it showed 5 tasks. If, on the web, I archive the project and then unarchive the project, all the tasks reappear on the web.

Is there any easy way for me to just force a sync from my iPhone, overwriting what is on the web?

Hi,

It should already be doing that, anywhere new information is added it should sync to all locations. Sadly this could be an issue with the iOS app, of which we have made some changes recently. The solution would be to log out and back in again. Though if for some reason this information is not synced, this will cause it to be lost.

Brendon.

Not sure how it would be an iOS issue when I can from the web, archive a project that is missing the tasks, unarchive the project from the web, and the missing tasks then reappear under the project?

What I will do when I get some time is go through each project, archive it, unarchive it and verify all the tasks are there.

It does appear that new tasks being added to a project, either from the web or IOS are properly working.
