Todoist windows always pops up

LK

If the todoist application was the last app opened before the current app I use, anytime I close or hide my application with keyboard shortcuts, I mean cmd+h or cmd+w, todoist pops up on the screen even if it was hidden or closed by the X button. The keyboard shortcuts for todoist in the preferences is completely different from what I use to close or hide the other application, so I don't know why it triggers also todoist every time. Annoying.

Hello,

So far, I can't reproduce this. To clarify, this is step-by-step what I did:

1. Open some other app.
2. Open Todoist.
3. Use X to hide Todoist.
4. While having the other app opened use Cmd+H

Then I've repeated the same, but replaces Cmd+H with Cmd+W in the last step.

Please tell me if this is exactly what you're doing and if not - what is the exact procedure to trigger this issue?

Best regards,
David

1. Open Todoist
2. Hide Todoist with cmd+h (or close with x, or cmd+w)
3. Open other app
4. Hide other app with cmd+h (or cmd+w )

Todoist pops up, same with cmd+w.

Laszlo,

I have tried that now and Todoist didn't pop up. Are you using it in fullscreen mode? Are you using the other app in fullscreen mode? What version of Mac OS are you using?

Best regards,
David

I am using OS X Yosemite 10.10 right now, but same thing happened with the previous version Maverick 10.9
No fullscreen app, nothing particular, clean desktop.
I just tried again exactly this:

1. open Todoist
2. close Todoist with cmd+w
3. open iTunes
4. hide iTunes app with cmd+h

Laszlo,

Thank you for this information, now I did manage to reproduce it when using iTunes. I'll pass it to our developers.

Best regards,
David

Hi!

We have just released a new version of the Mac app that fixes different problems, and one of the fixed problems is related with the Todoist window! :-)

This new version (5.x) is only available for Mac OS X 10.9+. You can download it from our Mac app website (https://todoist.com/mac) or on the Todoist app menu, clicking on "Check for Updates...". Soon it will be available to download from the Mac App Store.

Regards,
Enric
