Indian Payments Options

OK let me be very frank about this thing, the so called "Payment flaws in India"
I love Todoist & I want to be Premium (as long as I can)

But like every other company, Todoist doesn't has proper payments options for India.

In India, Its not that easy to get a Credit Card. (Yes believe me, its not that easy)

As per my Knowledge, Todoist supports 4 Payments options.

1) Credit Card Pay
2) PayPal
3) Google Play via Android App
4) iTunes via iOS App.

Problems..

1) Credit Card - Not having it.
2) PayPal - Ask for Credit Card (doesn't accept Debit card from India)
3) Google Play - Same issue, doesn't works with 99% of Indian Debit cards.
4) iTunes - AM AN ANDROID USER }:-)

What to do? -_-;

Hello Kamran,

We're very sorry for the inconvenience, but unfortunately, there's nothing that cane be done at this point :-( We indeed only offer the options mentioned above. We will consider adding others at some point, though.

The only advice I can give you, though to clarify - I'm not sure if it will work, would be to get a virtual credit card from one of these services: http://www.topandbest.org/2013/03/10-best-virtual-credit-card-vcc.html - they mention that these are great options if you're in India, but again, that's just a suggestion.

Best regards,
David

OK I appreciate your Effort in searching those VCC options.

I use Entropay as my VCC option for a long time but its since last June. Entropay & other majors doesn't works because of the New Guidelines by our Main Bank (i.e. RBI).

Dunno what to do? :(

Kamran,

Unfortunately, in that case, there's no other payment options we can offer right now :-(

Best regards,

That's the worst we (as Indians) had to face on the Web World. :-X

Isn't this possible that Todoist can get & implement a Payment Gateway system from India (for Indian users).
Or Do what Google Apps for Business does in India. (They have Reseller referral program in India & its the Reseller who does the Billing)

Just a Bad Idea though, I know I don't make any sense :-!

Hi Kamran,

Do you have a debit card that has a VISA or MasterCard logo in it? You can try using that as that will be process just like a credit card. I personally don't have a credit card but my debit card allows me to purchase things online as it has the VISA logo in it.

Regards,

Clyde

Hi Kamran,

Are you using the Premium version or the Business version? Here's a link of Todoist that's available in Google Apps: https://www.google.com/enterprise/marketplace/viewListing?productListingId=18920+13176463707046479043&pli=1

Unfortunately, the Business version is not available there. :-(

Clyde

No No No.
You Misunderstood me, I don't need Todoist for Google Apps.

I was pointing you towards the Payment method "Google Apps for Business" uses in India.

This issue had been resolved as Entropay now accepting Indian Debit cards.
