Hello,

Please use Cmd+RightArrow and also please note that this only works if you're adding a task from within a project using the regular task input field through "+ Add task" at the bottom.

The indent icons are visible after hovering over the 3-dot icon in the bottom-right corner of the input field mentioned above.

Best regards,
David

Sandy,

So, to clarify, if you go into a project, click on "+ Add task" at the bottom, neither Cmd+Right nor Control+Right indent the opened input field?

Best regards,
David

Okay IC this only works if I am in a project and not when I am on today's
tasks. Why is that?

Sandy,

On date-based views, every task that meets the search criteria is displayed separately regardless of its indent level. In this view, you can see a level 3 sub-task on the same level as a parent task below it and both can be from two different projects.

That said, it would be very difficult to have a clear view of what are you adding where, under what task in what project and what level is this task already and how many indent levels you still have left in this case and block the options to use more than they can be used.

However, in a project, all tasks are structured exactly as you've set them, all indent levels are visible and it's very clear where you're adding a sub-task and what will be its parent task.

Best regards,
David
